The Deeping Men's Group is a local organisation run by volunteers for the Deepings area community. We loan out wheelchairs and other medical aid equipment. This service is free of charge and open to all who live within the catchment area of the Deepings Health Centre.

We have a fleet of over 75 wheelchairs, battery powered wheelchairs/scooters, recliners, bath-lifts and other 'medical aids' such as walking frames and commodes. To help as many people as possible loans are usually for three months only, because demand is so high. This gives people time to obtain equipment from social Services if needed on a long-term basis.

In order to raise funds for the repair, replacement and new equipment we rely on donations, grants and social events together with collecting boxes in various local pubs and business premises.

We keep in close touch with the Deepings Health Centre for advice on those who may need our help and the appropriateness of the equipment to the case in question.

Our Store of Equipment is now at the rear of The Institute, Church Street, Deeping St James.
